TAOS, NEW MEXICO - Sep 2006 - Terrie Hancock Mangat has been commissioned
by Jack Walsh to create a large quilt about water. Jack Walsh is
a major quilt collector with a nationally signifcant collection
of contemporary quilts.
A exhibition entitled "Stitched Marks" featuring the work of Terrie
Hancock Mangat, Mical Aloni and Carol Shinn will run from January
20 - May 13, 2006 at the Harwood Museum in downtown Taos, New Mexico.
The show will feature a variety of fiber-arts techniques. An opening
Reception will be held Friday January 20th from 5-7pm. For information

TAOS, NEW MEXICO - July 1, 2004 - Terrie Hancock Mangat has been commissioned by John and Marty Marmaduke of Hastings Bookstores to quilt a large community accessible triptych for St. Mary's Church in Amarillo, Texas. Each piece will be 8' by 12', for a total size of 12' by 24'.
